About
Me

As young as five, I began creating outfits to express myself and taking influence from being raised in the suburbs outside of Chicago. I guess you could say, fashion has always been a strong presence in my life; even before I knew it was what I wanted to pursue as my career. My summers, as a child were spent in the back of my mothers women's clothing boutique being witness to fashion. I knew what a trade show looked like before I knew what it was. When I started to show interest in fashion, my mother would bring me along on her buying trips to learn how to buy. Fashion came alive to me in these shows; I felt like a part of this world, having privilege to the forecasting of trends current and upcoming. The shows fully illustrated the cycles of the industry. My mom noticed my instinct for style and would have me assist in buying. These early interactions led me to finding my love for fashion design.
I use fashion design as my art medium to convey my ideas about the world. I believe fashion can have a powerful voice and I utilize that opportunity as a fashion designer.
